The Beginning

I know the look

The one where everything seems fine — the marriage, the responsibilities, the prayer schedule, the appearances — but inside, something doesn't feel home.

I lived in that look for years. From the outside I had everything I was supposed to want. I prayed. I provided. I performed. And somewhere along the way, I disappeared inside my own life.

The crack came quietly. Not a crisis. Just a Tuesday morning where I sat in my kitchen and realized I couldn't remember the last time I felt anything other than tired.

The Turning Point

What changed wasn't more advice

I had already read the books. Tried the therapy. Memorized the duas. Listened to the lectures. Each one gave me something useful, and none of it touched what was actually happening underneath.

What changed everything was learning to meet my own pain instead of managing it. To stop performing wellness and let myself feel what was actually true. And to bring Allah into the part of my life I'd hidden from everyone — including Him.

That's where Aslah began. Not as a method I invented. As the path I walked.

How the work formed

What I learned in my own healing became the structure I now guide others through. Three pillars. Built to heal the root.

Emotional Safety. Spiritual Reconnection. Personal Power.

Not separate skills. Not three modules. A single path you walk in sequence — and once you've walked it, you don't go back.

Background

How I came to do this work

I've trained in trauma-informed coaching, faith-aligned mentorship, and the integration of emotional and spiritual healing. I've studied with teachers in both Western therapeutic traditions and classical Islamic scholarship.

But the real qualification is the years I spent inside the pain I now help people walk out of — and the years since, guiding hundreds of high-functioning Muslims through the same path.

My credential is having lived it. My method is what brought me out.
